Social Distancing Protocol
We have a comprehensive protocol in place in relation to social distancing here, as your own and our staff’s health is paramount to us. Please phone us on 01923 750 680 on arrival so we can ensure the waiting area is free for you. We require that all staff and clients wear a face-mask and sanitise hands at the station provided. Our vet, Jon, will chat and discuss the reasons for your pet’s visit to you in the spacious waiting area and then take your pet(s) out back with a qualified nurse to conduct the examination. We will then bring them back out to you in the waiting area and discuss everything. This is to ensure your safety and in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.
– Jon and the Team
We would like to emphasize and convey that there is nothing researchers and scientists have found to suggest that our pets can spread the COVID-19 virus to people. Please continue with vigilant hand-washing as general health/containment practice.
Our aim is to do things differently here. We are an Independent Veterinary Clinic – and proudly so!
Battlers Green Veterinary Centre was opened by Dr Jonathan Rubin in July 2019.
Coming to the vets, just like a trip to the doctors or dentist, is always accompanied by a certain amount for trepidation, we want the experience these less stressful for you, and your pet and at you leave informed, satisfied and confident the treatment plan has been made for your very precious pet.
We treat small animals and exotics and our consultations are there Monday to Saturday by appointment.
Mondays to Friday: 9am – 6.00pm
Saturday : 9am – 12.30pm (Appointments 9am-12pm)
Our premises were designed, and purpose built to Veterinary Clinic and not simply renovated property. There are separate dog and cat waiting areas, separate dog and cat hospital wards as well as sterile and non-sterile theatre.
We have digital full body and dental x-ray suites. A full in-house laboratory including biochemistry profiles, haematology and urinalysis. Our equipment is top of range and brand new.
Our theatre tables are heated to prevent heat loss during procedures – common complication of anaesthetic.
