We would like to emphasize and convey that there is nothing researchers and scientists have found to suggest that our pets either carry nor can spread the COVID-19 virus to people. Please continue with vigilant hand-washing as a general health/containment practice. As the updated ongoing situation becomes clear to us we will keep you updated whether it be restricted consulting and opening hours or examination protocol. We wish you and your family good health with the upcoming events
Our aim is to do things differently here. We are an Independent Veterinary Clinic – and proudly so!
Battlers Green Veterinary Centre was opened by Dr Jonathan Rubin in July 2019. Coming to the vets, just like a trip to the doctors or dentist, is always accompanied by a certain amount of trepidation, we want the experience to be less stressful for you and your pet and that you leave informed, satisfied and confident that a treatment plan has been made for your very precious pet.
We treat small animals and exotics and our consultations are Monday to Saturday by appointment.
Mondays to Friday: 9am – 6.00pm
Saturday : 9am – 12.30pm (Appointments 9am-12pm)
Our premises were designed, and purpose built to be a Veterinary Clinic and not a simply renovated property. There are separate dog and cat waiting areas, separate dog and cat hospital wards as well as a sterile and a non-sterile theatre.
We have digital full body and dental x-ray suites. A full in-house laboratory including biochemistry profiles, haematology and urinalysis. Our equipment is all top of the range and brand new.
Our theatre tables are heated to prevent heat loss during procedures – a common complication of anaesthetic.
