Welcome to Battlers Green Veterinary Centre.
We will be closed Saturday 25th December to Wednesday 29th December. And again, Saturday 1st January to Tuesday 4th January.
During this time: For all urgent enquiries and emergencies, please call our dedicated out-of-hours provider Village Vet St Albans on 01727 852667. They will be able to field any queries you have, and give advice or determine if your pet needs seeing and treatment.
Outside of these dates, we will be open as normal.
Our aim is to do things differently here.
We are an Independent Veterinary Clinic – and proudly so!
Battlers Green Veterinary Centre was opened by Dr Jonathan Rubin in July 2019.
Coming to the vets, just like a trip to the doctors or dentist, is always accompanied by a certain amount of trepidation. We want the experience to be less stressful for you, and your pet and that you leave informed, satisfied and confident that the treatment plan has been made for your very precious pet.
We treat small animals and exotics and our consultations are available Monday to Saturday by appointment.
Mondays to Friday: 9am – 6.00pm
Saturday : 9am – 12.30pm (Appointments 9am-12pm)
Our premises were designed, and purpose built to Veterinary Clinic and not simply renovated property. There are separate dog and cat waiting areas, separate dog and cat hospital wards as well as sterile and non-sterile theatre.
We have digital full body and dental x-ray suites. A full in-house laboratory including biochemistry profiles, haematology and urinalysis. Our equipment is top of range and brand new.
Our theatre tables are heated to prevent heat loss during procedures – common complication of anaesthetic.
